Bro It's Halal uses simple halal tags to help you quickly understand the halal information we have for a restaurant.
Fully Halal
Fully Halal means the information available to us indicates that the restaurant's food or menu is halal throughout.
This is the broadest halal designation we use.
Halal Meat
Halal Meat means the restaurant serves halal meat, but we don't have enough information to say that everything on the menu is halal.
For example, a restaurant may use halal chicken and beef while also serving other foods that have a different halal status.
Halal Options
Halal Options means the restaurant has specific halal dishes or choices available.
The entire restaurant or menu should not be assumed to be halal based on this tag.
Halal
Sometimes we can establish that a restaurant is halal, but we don't have enough information to determine whether that applies to the entire menu, specific meats, or particular dishes.
In those cases, we simply use the Halal tag rather than making assumptions.
Pending Halal Verification
Pending Halal Verification means we found this restaurant through a halal food reviewer, but don't yet have enough information to determine its halal status.
Why do we use different tags?
"Halal" can mean different things at different restaurants. One restaurant may have an entirely halal menu, while another may only offer halal chicken or a few halal dishes.
Our tags are designed to make that distinction clear without making you dig through the restaurant's information.
A note about halal information
Our halal tags are based on information we find through publicly accessible online sources, including restaurant websites, social media, and other food and business directories. We organize and evaluate this information to help you find halal places to eat. Halal practices can change, so please check with the restaurant for the most current information.
